Tony Ricci, President

Tony Ricci is a Fellow and Advisory Board member of the ISSN. Tony holds separate Masters Degrees in Exercise Physiology and Human Nutrition, with Doctoral work in Health Sciences. He is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. Additionally, he is the founder of Fightshape International, a multi-discipline performance enhancement company, through which he has coached scores of professional athletes in fight-sports including 6 World Champions.
Tony serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Dymatize Nutrition, holds State and Board Certifications as a Nutritionist, (CNS/CDN) certifications in Strength & Conditioning with the NSCA and NASM. Along with achieving black belts in several martial arts, he continues rigorous training in fight-sports and serves as the Sports Science Advisor for Team Serra-Longo MMA.


Michael Camp, Director of Medicine

Dr. Michael Camp is a highly accredited & recognized Physical Therapist and Performance Enhancement Specialist. He graduated from the University of Maryland, with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Michael pursued continuing education in Osteopathic Manual Medicine, and other advance manual courses. Michael trained in Tampa, Florida, rotating through several top Performance facilities, working with Medical Teams, designing and implementing post surgical elite programs, rehabbing, and enhancing the performance of Athletes from MLB, MLS, NFL, NHL, UFC, NBA, Pro Golfers, Tennis Pros, Collegiate Stars, and Olympic hopefuls. Michael earned his CSCS, from the NSCA, Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification from NASM, and many other noted credentialed courses in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.


Phil Daru, Director of Strength and Conditioning

Phil Daru is a certified functional strength coach and functional range conditioning movement specialist with over a decade of experience coaching athletes and general public. Daru has degrees in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science also a former D1 football player for Alabama State University. Along with being a former professional mixed martial artist Daru has worked with multiple world champions as a strength coach for fighters such as Joanna Jedrzejczyk, King Mo Lawal, Tecia Torres, Dustin Poirier, Amanda Nunes, all at the world famous American Top Team. Was awarded the “Best MMA S&C coach of the year award” for the 2012 Florida MMA Awards. Now a competitive strength athlete Daru has fully invested in progressing himself and others through a systematic approach to initiate a positive change in there health, and performance.


Corey Peacock, Director of Sports Science

Dr. Corey Peacock is currently serving as the Head Performance Coach and Sports Scientist at Peacock Performance Inc. In this role, he is responsible for providing strength & conditioning, physiological analysis, and injury prevention methodologies for some of the world’s ‘Elite’ Combat Athletes including Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson, Volkan Oezdemir, Kamaru Usman, Michael Chandler Jr, and Chris Algieri to name a few. He fulfilled this same role previously with MMA’s The Blackzilians. Prior to MMA, Dr. Peacock spent his time as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the collegiate level, where he focused his application on Football. As a former collegiate football player, Corey graduated from Kent State University with a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. Along with coaching, Dr. Peacock also serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Nova Southeastern University. He is also a Performance Consultant for both The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).


Chris Algieri, Director of Sports Nutrition

Chris Algieri, the Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Jr. Welterweight Boxing Champion, ISKA World Welterweight Kickboxing Champion and WKA World Super Welterweight World Kickboxing Champion, with over 13 years professional fight experience. Outside the ring, Chris graduated from Stony Brook University with honors in May 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Management and then went on to receive his Master’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He is certified as a Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) through the International Society of Sport Nutrition (ISSN). He often speaks at Sports Performance conferences, seminars and summits on various topics of Human Performance and Nutrition. Chris was recently hired by Stony Brook University as the Head Performance Nutrition Coach. He has the opportunity to work with nearly 500 Division I athletes from 16 different sport teams. Chris’ interest and passion for nutrition and sport is evident in his dealings with the athletes on a daily basis through the grueling schedules of Division I Student Athletes.
